Made up of cutting edge earth technology and hyper-advanced alien machinery, the X-Men have used the Danger Room and its hard-light constructs to train for years. What they didn’t know is that the Danger Room is sentient. They know it now, as “Danger” has come to life, defeated the X-Men, commandeered their Blackbird jet and arrived in Genosha to kill Professor Xavier, whom it calls “Father.”

Professor Xavier fought back, however, hotwiring a semi truck and driving Danger into a power plant. The electricity caused a systems shutdown in Danger and gave Xavier time to dismantle his attacker just as the X-Men arrived to help. But it was too late. Before they could finish Danger off, she activated a mega-Sentinel the size of a skyscraper that was laying dormant off the coast of Genosha.

Emma Frost has seen this Sentinel before, when it annihilated Genosha, killing the 16 million mutants who lived there. Can Emma, Cyclops, Wolverine, Kitty Pryde, Colossus, Beast and Professor X defeat the monstrosity that killed millions of their kind in a single day…in addition to the near-omnipotent artificial intelligence that defeated nearly all of them just one day ago?
