Norman Osborn has returned…bonded to the Carnage Symbiote! After J. Jonah Jameson accidentally divulged the Amazing Spider-Man’s secret identity, Norman, as the Red Goblin, attacked the Daily Bugle in a psychotic bid for revenge against his greatest foe.
The Red Goblin’s terrifying power overwhelmed the wall-crawler, leaving the hero badly wounded and utterly defeated. But Norman offered him a deal: give up the power, give up the responsibility– =give up being Spider-Man–and he would let Peter live. Otherwise, everyone he cared about would die.
Peter took the deal but had already formed a plan. Spider-Man may have been forced to hang-up the webs…but the man behind the mask–Peter Parker–is far from out the fight!
